Muktinath trek is renowned as one of the best treks that take you to the local cultural beauty along the classic trade-route into the Kaligandaki valley. Jomson was once a transit point of trade between Tibet and Nepal. Jomsom presides just by Kali Gandaki River and under the roof, Nilgiri Himal is a valley of the unforgettable beauty of different Himalayas and Mountains. The journey through Jomsom offers you the landscape beauty that is unsurpassable though barren and windy. The Bon Po Gompas in the way are much interesting. You’ll reach a beautiful village Kagbeni if you walk across Saligrams. In the village, Thupten Samphel Ling (Gompa) still resides dominating a fascinating medieval rabbit. The houses that are made of a warren of crumbling mud-brick delights your trekking journey. You’ll experience full of wonders through the entire trek. Reaching Muktinath gives you the most beautiful observation of culture and tradition of both Hindus and Buddhists.

The 14 days journey towards Muktinath starts after your arrival in Kathmandu. We drive towards Pokhara which is the most favored place for tourists. Entering in Pokhara offers you the exciting views of mountains including Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna, and others. We take a flight to Jomsom where we begin our trek towards Kagbeni. The trail towards Muktinath goes through various greenery forests with different flora and fauna. We further trek towards Marpha via Jomsom towards Kalopani. We follow the path of Sikha and move to Poon Hill. We’ll have a short drive to Pokhara from Nayapul and then drive back to Kathmandu. Our tour ends back in Kathmandu.

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1310 m)

As soon you arrive in Kathmandu, a representative will pick you up and transfer you to a hotel. We’ll discuss the tour later. In the evening, you’ll be served a special dinner that introduces Nepali food culture. Overnight in Kathmandu.


Day 2 : Drive to Pokhara (910 m)

Early in the morning, we’ll have a long drive towards Pokhara. Entering Pokhara will give you the best mountains views of Dhaulagiri, Mchhapuchhre, Annapurna, and others. We’ll explore the lakeside which is the most famous place in Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.


Day 3 : Flight to Jomsom (2665 m) and trek to Kagbeni (2800 m)

The next day, we take a flight towards Jomsom with exciting Ariel views of various mountains and local settlements. After reaching Jomsom, we begin our trek towards Kagbeni. The trail goes through a large riverbed where we’ll find nice stones for the collection and sometimes even real fossils. Overnight in Kagbeni.


Day 4 : Trek to Muktinath (3802 m)

Today, we walk through various forests between beautiful mountains and enjoy different flora and fauna, and ways and huge rock walls. After reaching Muktinath, we enjoy the unique culture and tradition and visit the various temple in Muktinath. Overnight in Muktinath.


Day 5 : Trek to Marpha (2750 m) via Jomsom

We continue our trek towards Marpha. But this time, we walk downwards about 6 hours and reach Marpha via Jomsom. Overnight in Marpha.


Day 6 : Trek to Kalopani (2600 m)

Walking for about 5-6 hours along the route of Kali Gandaki River, we reach a beautiful village which looks like a Tibetan settlement. Overnight in Kalopani.


Day 7 : Trek to Tatopani (1100 m)

As the morning arises, we continue our trek towards Tatopani. Tatopani is best known for its natural hot spring bath. Overnight in Tatopani.


Day 8 : Trek to Sikha (1935 m)

Early in the morning, we descend towards Sikha. The walk is about 4-5 hours. Overnight in Sikha.


Day 9 : Trek to Ghorepani (2830 m)

We again walk upwards towards Ghorepani for about 3-4 hours. Overnight in Ghorepani.


Day 10 : Trek to Poonhill (3210 m) and Tadapani (2520 m)

Today, we climb upwards to the Poonhill. The trail goes through various rhododendron and pine forests and offers different beautiful mountain views. We again trek down towards Tadapani for overnight.


Day 11 : Trek to Ghandrung (1950 m)

Walking through the steep landscape for about 3-4 hours, we reach a beautiful place called Ghandrung with unique culture and tradition. Overnight in Ghandrung.


Day 12 : Trek to Nayapul (1070 m) and drive to Pokhara

We have a last trek towards Nayapul where we drive back to Pokhara. We’ll have some rest in Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.


Day 13 : Drive to Kathmandu

After an early breakfast in the morning, we’ll drive back to Kathmandu on the bank of the river with beautiful mountain views on the side. After reaching in Kathmandu, you can do some shopping for gifts for your family and friends. Overnight in Kathmandu.


Day 14 : Final Departure

Our journey comes to an end this day. After breakfast and hotel checkout, a representative will help you with your final departure.
